We are all learning and can continue to do so throughout our lives. No one theory or no one person is absolutely and always right.

Life goes around and around; it shifts and moves. We needn’t be stuck, but we can often be confused.

Ever feel that your Self is lost?

A lost Self manifests itself in many ways. You can’t find inner peace and personal satisfaction. You can’t attain your life dreams. You don’t know the direction you want your life to follow. You lack confidence, or balance, and you’re afraid to try new ideas. You may feel as if you have no choices.

Not so.

Everyone has choices, and everyone can find direction.

Irene’s passion is helping people find their direction, find their soul, find their Self. She believes there is no one way, and certainly no one belief, that solves all problems. She utilizes Inner Child Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, Relaxation and Visualization and Talk Therapy to help you find, nurture and support your Self. She can even use teachings from the Native American tradition.

Quickly, a few of Irene’s beliefs and aims:

  • Look for Balance. Balance is staying out of extremes and integrating both sides.
  • There are no mistakes, only lessons.
  • Live for the Now. The time is now. We cannot repeat the past and cannot accurately foresee the future. Take advantage of what is here now. The present is your reality right now.
  • Be Kind to your Self. That is how you grow.
  • Be Grateful. Being grateful gives us energy. It takes us out of depressive states and anxious moods. It just feels good.
  • Be in Charge of Your Routines. Be aware of your routines. Routines are good. Why change? Routines ground us and they keep us stuck.
  • Take Time to Smell the Roses. Life can be hectic and life may not be yours anymore.
  • Forgive . . . Within Boundaries. Forgiveness is being aware of the pain of the other. But that doesn’t mean we have to continue exposing ourselves to this pain. Set boundaries.
  • Enjoy. Relax. This is how to become aware, to grow.
  • Others Treat Us as We Treat Ourselves. Treat yourself with respect and dignity and others will follow.
  • Self-Knowledge is the Basis for All Decisions. The clearer the sense of self, the clearer and more appropriate your decisions are likely to be.
